Visit of Chairperson, JERC and Secretary, JERC to Kishtwar for review of ongoing & commissioned Hydropower Projects 08-Mar-2026

Shri Raj Kumar Chaudhary, Chairperson, Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, J&K and Ladakh (JERC) along with Shri Mohd. Ashraf, Secretary, JERC visited Kishtwar from 05.03.2026 to 08.03.2026 to review the ongoing & commissioned Hydropower Projects in the said area. Chairperson, JERC and Secretary, JERC, visited Pakal Dul HE Project, Kiru HE Project & Kwar HE Project of Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL); Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC Limited and Ratle HE Project of Ratle Hydro Power Corporation Limited (RHPCL).
The dignitaries were welcomed by Shri MK Kashyap, CEO, RHPCL; Shri Suresh Kumar, HoP Dulhasti Power Station; Shri Vishal Anand, HoP Pakal Dul HE Project; Shri S K Giri, HoP Kwar HEP; and Shri S K Parhi, HoP Kirthai-II.
Appreciating the efforts being put by the Projects/ Power Station, Chairperson, JERC, urged the officials to ensure completion of Project works within the timeframe. During the visit, the dignitaries also met with various stakeholders to the ongoing projects and urged them to extend their support for timely completion of the Projects so that tangible benefits, through CSR-SD as well as Local Area Development Fund, can be realized for the overall development of Kishtwar and J&K.
