Turbine Rotor of Unit II successfully lowered in CVPPL - Pakal Dul HE Project 30-Jan-2026

In a major step towards the completion of 1000 MW (4x250 MW) Pakal Dul HE Project, Rotor (20 Nos. of Poles weighing 420 T) has been successfully lowered in Unit - II today on 30.01.2026 in the presence of Officers of Pakal Dul HE Project, M/s Voith (Contractor for E&M Package) and M/s AJJV (Contractor for Power House Civil Package).
NHPC, JKSDPC and CVPPL Management congratulated Officers of Pakal Dul HE Project and M/s Voith on this Milestone achievement. CVPPL Management, appreciating the efforts of Project, urged Officers of Pakal Dul HE Project, M/s Voith and M/s AJJV to put efforts in achieving the balance Milestone Targets so that Project is commissioned within the stipulated timeframe.
