Excavation of all four major Vertical Pressure Shafts of 291m depth and 5.5m dia each of Pakal Dul HE Project, Kishtwar has been completed 20-May-2025

In a major development in 1000 MW Pakal Dul HE Project, the excavation of all four major Vertical Pressure Shafts of 291m depth and 5.5m dia each has been completed. This challenging task has been completed with joint efforts of officers of CVPPL and the contractor M/s Afcons-JAL JV. With this the major excavation of Power House Works has been completed and the project has inched closer in realising the goal of commissioning as per set timeline.
